Glass Buttons

Got bored yesterday, and built some buttons with a glass design as opposed to a gradient. Just tried out some things as a experiment, so not a complete set, just the main ones. There's no smilies and icons, to save a bit of space.

This worked out okay, though smaller icons didn't come out as well as I wanted, and the colors were rather limited, so not sure if people would be interested in these or not. If there's people who would like these, just post, and I will put up a link for the download. 6 sets of buttons were done, here's a screenshot of them so you can see how they look.

Okay, put them up, so come and get them. It's set to public in my site, so no need to register for these. All the web graphics galleriess I have are public, members see a lot more listed, but it's all pinball stuff anyway.

Did a very fast contact sheet type thing for them, as it takes much longer to screenshot the buttons than actually do them up. Got lazy. :)

There's also some button sets using the VButton program as well, but like this set, nothing special. Maybe once I have some spare time, I will correct my actions and do a proper set up.

Hope you guys can find some use for it. Click the download link at the side of the screenshot. The files are 49k zipped, as there are missing icons, but as mentioned before, the main ones are there at least.

I like the orange and purple ones best, unique colors from the norm. :)

Oh, forgot to give credit where it's due, this is based on the V6 action released to this forum a while back, but modified by me. Forgot the author's name though. Also, there is a minor bug, something I noticed just today with a few buttons coloring in the transparent area as well as the button. Think I fixed them, but if anyone notices any I missed, just tell me, and I will see what I can do.

Look a lot better larger of course. Text covers it up anyway. Just a cheap button set really, as I noticed a couple people were looking, and it's a slight difference in look. Besides, it's free, which I personally feel I would like to see more of around here.

Hopefully, if ever I can find decent icons, I will do some different button sets for everyone. Anyone know of a decent site with a good style set of posting/forum icons? Looking for a real "different" look to my next set.
