I THINK WE DID IT FINALLY!
http://www.annointed.net
we've spent weeks integrating vbulletin in as a module into postnuke. So far we have managed to "bridge" all of the user databases, with the exception of private messages and buddies.

What I am looking for is vb experts to tear it apart looking for bugs. It's very hard to track em all down alone. Please take the time to login, the process is quite cool, one login for both vb and pn. If you find any bugs please report in our bugs, suggestions area. Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated. We're so close to being able to release this module.

Many thanks are due to Neo over at http://www.samstech.net He has trully mastered this initial idea, and we can't wait to continue porting programs such as photopost into the "bridge"

p.s.
The only bug I haven't solved yet, that I know of, is that the board has to be refreshed one time, after logging in, in order to show the user in vb.
If anyone has ideas on this one, that would be great

The site looks good..

Question though... Are you using the vBulletin forums? It doesn't look like vB?

Will you be releasing this or how do you plan to move forward with it?

Thanks

Josh

yes we are using vbulletin 2.2.6 and postnuke .714. As to it not looking like vb, we've added about 100 of the hacks found here, in order to extend the user, and also admin power of VB. I have not as of yet had the chance to completelly modify the templates of vb to my liking. As time permits, I'll come out with an entirelly new template style that more reflects the look and feel of my site.

As to releasing it. Yes we do plan on this, however we are still trying to solve the cookie issue from the "bridge". And I am still hoping to have many come and "tear it apart". :nervous: I really need input before release. I know how people hate beta releases that are buggy.

thanks

I am in much need of this release. I have just installed PostNuke and have also recently been taking some nice hacks from here for my VBulletin 2.2.6 forums section. I'd be willing to do some bug testing in exchange for help in the integration of the two packages...

There is no vBulletin copyright message. I assumed you must have paid extra to have permission for it to be removed. :)

Actually, I browsed through your site... you have actually copied my default avatars from my forums, as well as the "Blessings" and "Armor of God" ideas and graphics. :)

At least let me know and ask for permission first. It is after all a breach of copyright laws and is illegal, as well as unethical.

The ironic thing is that when I go to your site at www.anointed.net you have this in large letters:

"If you try and copy something from my site please make sure you get the proper copyright permission."

And yet you copy my images without permission. Hmmm...

erwin, he's double posting also...
dreamhost, buddy... learn how to mod a little your vbulletin and it will look exacly like nuke, without the crap 2mb code added and useless features you have onto it.

plus on top of that you get the look of a portal that everyone have... and hates. i dont go often to a portal site, because they are all ugly and uneficient.
