...I am not happy about this "shut the door in potential punters faces" attitude when someone asks for help (see my thread here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?s=&threadid=41444))

I do understand why vb work like this but to see it from a potential punters point of view it doesnt look good, I mean you wouldn't go into your local electrical and ask them to demo a telly only to be told "You have to buy it before you can test it properly"!

My question is, if I was to spend $160 (or whatever it is atm) on the software, then re-posted my thread (see link above) would I:

a.) get the help I needed to sort the problems (has anyone actually manged to get 1.11d XMB imported so it works?).
b.) get some help but the problems could not be resolved.

If a then great, I will buy it now but if b do I get my money back as I cant use this product without suffering loss so better to stick with what I got and keep rehashing it until a suitable alternative comes along..

thanks for your time

Simon

You said in your previous post that:
I am using someones vb to butcher
All I am asking is that you ask your friend to add your username to the list of priority support receivers, so we can help you.

I fully appreciate what your saying, I am in the process of getting him to sort it for me to get support. I was just after some clarification of my questions just to set my mind at rest.

cheers
