Just search for:
Letze 10 Suchwörter

and replace it with:
Top 10 Searched Words

Search for: \date & \time
Replace with: Date & Time

That will fix the spelling errors.

This is not really an error, there must be an images folder and you have to upload the statistik folder to the images folder, where is the error ? Maybe say it with other words (remember I am from Germany ;))

you don't need to re-installing, you have only to replace the newstatistik.php file, thats all. (don't forget to make the settings again in this file if you changes anithing of this settings)

If you dont want to use the new version you can replace "Clodes Threads" with "Closed Threads" in the newstatistik.php file

you can hide some forums:

disable board of your choise for implementation in the Top10 (Posts/Views)


This hack use the custom permissions of your board for each membergroup
I mean this in your control panel:
* Red: using custom permissions for this forum
the blue one (Blue: using custom permissions inherited from parent forum) will not insolved at the moment.
But you can permit forums from the top10 displays, you will find an marked place to modifiy this in the
newstatistik.php file.

this code seems OK, please try to replace ALL templates with the code in the files, thats my only hint. a german webmaster had a similar problem and his problem was the usage of a html optimizer.

Try to download the hack again and replace all templates and the newstatistik.php file

How do you insert the template Code ?
Do you check the template code with a programm first ? If yes dont do this.

I use notepad, open the text file, click EDIT and SELECT ALL then COPY, goto the Admin CP, make the template, and right mouse click and click paste. I never have a problem doing it like that. I will download the file and re-do the templates and file later tonite. I will let you know.

I think this boards made a new filed in the smilie table and counts the smilies while the posting will be insert in the database but than the stats are not correct because the counter counts from inserting the hack and not from begin, if you find such kind of board please ask the admin for your modification

This isn't about adding still more features, AB. This is about those people that already have Bane's vBStats hack installed, and have had it installed for quite a while. I'm sure I can speak for the rest of them when I say I don't want two different stats programs, and I certainly don't want to go through the hassle of uninstalling vBStats.

I checked the: afterburner_stat/sessions_day and they do exist but they're empty. I assume that means I missed something from the global.php hacking? I'll go over that now and check - thank you.

I think the picture shows what's happened, here's another one to prove it didn't dissapear into Tuesday.

What I'm going to do is have a look in the database and manually correct the stats. (I assume that the lower two just require deleting and are not 'real' stats which should be added to the top one).

I love this hack but I have one problem, the last 4 days, my new users count has remained at 0 when we have usually 25-30 new members. How can I fix this?

I'm sorry I worded that wrong. I mean the new users per day count has stopped counting. We have about 25-30 new members daily and it shows 0 new members everyday, It stopped working after a few days.

I know I'm a Newby but at my Board, the Admins are the only persons wich can add new Members, so the Statisticcounter had no effect.

But i think it can be usefull for all other Boardadmins too ;)

this happens by some users, just delete the first entry in afterburners_stats in your mysql database, I mean the entry with 18 max online users

Question for you!

I loaded this on 2 of my sites!

Works great on the one with 1 Theme but the other site has mulitple themes and it seems to work only under one theme.

I added the templates to the Default Theme and then tried adding theme to the other themes but it only show a blank page.

If I have them added only to one theme it works great.

Any Ideas?

0 Mod
0 super Mods
3 Admins

but i have many Mods an super Mods why is there a 0?

Registered since start: 2145 <- is too much

Polls: 106 <- that were all polls, but i delete many and now there about 12!

4. Max. Online-User: is the most time too high.

and Most users ever online was a mistake how can i reset it? :confused:

I've been using this hack for about 3 months now, and I'm very happy with it.

But there are a few bugs though, at my board at least.

1. When I check the history - there's 8 pages now - I noticed that there isn't the same amount of entries on each page. Some have 17 entries, some only 3 and another one about 30. That seems to be a bit odd.

2. One some of the pages I get the same dates:
page 8: 25/8/02 - 27/8/02
page 7: 25/8/02 - 11/9/02
page 6: 25/8/02 - 26/9/02
page 5: 25/8/02 - 11/10/02
page 4: 28/8/02 - 26/10/02

If a user posts in a thread he gets 1 forward to his post counter. But if he posts in a second time no reaction. The Counter remains the number of posts it had reight before.
If you go to another thread, in which you've not posted before its the same thing. the post counter only counts 1 post for each thread.

Hello, hello.

I'm porting this hack to vb 3.5.2, by modifying it in a few ways...
I consider it very inefficient (lots of queries), but I loved it at the time and therefore, in a nostalgic attempt, I'm porting it by adding a few features.

Reason for porting these stats (which are clearly inferior to PC Freak's great vbstatistics hack) is that PC does not want to tell us when he expects to release the 3.5 version of his stats since several months. Afterburner's stats might be "cuter", though :)

The thing is, I'm not good at packaging the whole stuff into the now state-of-the art vb 3.5 product / plugin format, so I would need help on this. Anyone interested?
