Does anyone know how to make IIS spider friendly? I've seen plenty on Apache, but nothing about IIS. :(

What is IIS? If it doesn't have to do with vbulletin, I would discuss it in the lounge area. Otherwise, I'm not sure about it.

Doesnt spider-friendly vb hack depend on creating static HTML pages for threads? If this is the case, it should work with any Server program including IIS.. If the hack does not use this logic, then you can to achieve your goal.. :)

No I believe it is using Apache .htaccess's ErrorDocument setting.

There are three methods I've found so far, but no one seems to know how to do this on IIS! Fastforward and Overgrown both have hacks that will accomplish the task, but no one can seem to answer the question of how this is done with anything besides Apache. I know it's possible. Isn't there one damn IIS expert here who can fill me in? :(

IIS = Internet Info Services, FYI

Oh, and it definitely has to do with vB, because that's what I'm trying to configure. Although something also has to be done to IIS, I think. Supposedy this can be done through modifying the db, or PHP....so yes, it's a vB hack.

Yes, and I've read that thread where someone else asked this very question and he didn't know anything about IIS. :(
