How do I link to search results?

I want to make a link to my board so that when people click the link it automatically runs the search on the word that I have specified, and if possible with the particular options I have selected. I believe this can be done with certain "switches" in the url, but I am unsure of how to do it.

I would also like to be able to only search a certain forum id also.

Can somebody please help me with doing this? I would really appreciate it.

It was the only result for searching with a thread started by you and that contained "search" in the thread subject.

Any other ideas, or could you write up the guide again? I would be very greatful. :bunny:
