I'll give you an example of how I would you this and you can infer from that how you would.
I have several committees on my board. Lets take the "Parking" committee.
It has 10 members on it. Instead of having to have each one on your buddy list to PM them all, why not have just one group you pm called "Parking Committee" and this would in turn send a PM to everyone on that list.
Did that make sense?
