Forumhomelinks Mini-Hack 1.0
credits to: Xenon
tested with vb 2.2.5 but should work with vb 2.x.x
************************************************** **
What it does:
Lot of forums uses this three little links in their forumhome template to start a new thread, show latest replys and to subscribe to that forum. But they are also shown to unregistered users. For me it make no sense to show it to them.
Therefore i made this little hack.

Instructions attached.

Screenshot in first post or in zip file.

Have fun!

zip includes: install file, graphics, screenshots

If you want to improve the look, use this for your
forumhome_forumbit_level2_post template.

<td bgcolor="{secondaltcolor}" valign="top"><img src="{imagesfolder}/$forum[onoff].gif" border="0" alt=""></td>
<td bgcolor="{firstaltcolor}" onMouseOver="this.style.backgroundColor='{secondaltcolor}'; this.style.cursor='hand';" onMouseOut="this.style.backgroundColor='{firstaltcolor}';" onClick="window.location.href='forumdisplay.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&forumid=$forum[forumid]'">
<table width="100%">

In your text file the { imagesfolder } variable is being replaced by https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/images - newbies might not understand what's going on with that. Also, the template points to the image findnew.gif and the images zip contains a file called firstnew.gif. A little editing is required I think! Besides that, a great addition to my forums running 2.2.6 - thanks! :)

yeah, don't attach txt-files, because the replacements become parsed, post an zip file instead..
