Hi there!
Took us three months to make the best out of vb, with a bunch of hacks i've written myself and other interesting ones found here.
Not very much template/design work here (except w3c compatibility), it's focused on functionality.
Main features are
- fully integrated CMS
- Gallery-functions
- New engine handling unread threads
Special thanks fly to FireFly for his QuickReply hack, we do as twice as posts per day than before - simple idea that rockz!
take a look at http://o.v.e.r.clockers.at/ - it's in german, but I think you'll get the idea.
I've written an article about the key features too, check it out at
http://o.v.e.r.clockers.at/showthread.php?action=showclass&postid=466292
I'm confident that some of you will be interested in seeing some of our modifications as hacks here - i'll see what i can do :)

Just wanted to let you know that some people here still are interested in your article system (and the way you manage attachments in them) :p
Hope you read it...

Does vb3.5 support multiple attachments by now? As soon as you have that, the Article-System is a pretty easy mod.
And what about a persistent read/unread-System for Posts?
If not, i'd still be interested in giving back these Functionality to the Community in the form of a quick Tutorial or Guide, which could then be used by a good programmer to implement the featue in a few hours.
But I'll look inside this thread only every 3 years :p ... so if you are a vb-mod developer and interested in programming these mods together with me, plz pm me.

Multiple attachments are already possible since vB3.0.
Enhanced Persistent read marking is introduced in vB3.5.

Is this marking fine grained enough to know that 5 of 10 posts in a thread are unread - and is there the ability to show this information in the thread-list? Is there a counter in the forum index to show the total number of all unread posts in this forum. That's what this hack is all about (see screenshots)
Just persisting a read-timestamp for each Thread via db (and switching off the lightbulb if everything is read in a particular forum) is all 3.5 is doing as far as i know (but this is still way better than the - in my opinion completely useless - store of max 20 thread states in a cookie that times out with every new session)

It will be persistant up to a page in a thread.

That's good to hear - thx.
The Plugin to show these information to users should be quick written then.
I'll look into this again when 3.5 is released.
