In my showthread, I get this error all along the top:

And I have no idea what that stuff is.... All the normal stuff is there except the posts. There's only the top line and bottom line rows that have the "new thread" and "new reply" buttons.

Ok, line 385 of functions.php is this:

eval("\$mod_logo = \"".gettemplate("postbit_moderator_icon")."\";");

The surrounding lines are:

The template, postbit_moderator_icon exists and is populated.

Now it says line 395 has the parse error. 395 is this:

eval("\$retval = \"".gettemplate("postbit")."\";");

When this is all over I'll merge all my posts together. ;)

Wow, that was some great support I recieved. ;) Well, I fixed it. It said the parse error wasn't in functions.php itself, but it was in what functions.php eval()'d. So I had to recreate the postbit template which had some weird error that I couldn't find.
