I can't seem to find this particular hack, but I'm pretty sure it exists, so if someone can point me in the right direction that'd be great:

1) have a custom image below the avatar for admins and mods and also have a custom color for them.
Example: http://www.gamerslive.net/misc/admin.gif

Also, anyone know how I can do this (or is this not really a hack) for the announcements? To make them appear in their own area separted from the threads.

well if it isn't yaxay :p well first off for the custom image the probably through a little somethign together to work with the usergroup settings :p second off colors can be easily manupilated in the admin cp for admins or you can go about and add a little something... last for the break its probably a simple template edit :p

Umm, they see a feature they like and want something similar... Instead of bashing them, you should be flattered that they like your work.

If you don't want anyone to imitate stuff they think is cool, burn it on a CD and bury it in your backyard - don't put it on the net. b|tching about stuff like this is just childish.

I am convinced that some people spend more time looking for stuff they can bash as imitations or whatnot than actually creating their own stuff.

For the image to show staff you could use the 'awards' hack.

Sure, except when it's over and over again

No, I won't look at your board.
Ever since you started spamming my mailbox without asking for permission, you ended up in my spam-filter and on the list of sites I won't visit again.
