how would I make a gallery like yaxay has... you see for his gallery forums he has seperate images such as new entry instead of newthread... I want to make a certian look and apply it to certian forums only... anyone know how I could achieve this?

where I can just make a new forum display template and just direct it to the forum ids I want it to go to ... anyone think they could do this?

I would also want to do the same thing with the new posting templates for new thread

All you have to do is create another template set...then create a new forum only using this set and then edit your templates to achieve the results you want.

when I create the new forum, how can I choose what template it picks from though?

When you create the forum there will be a drop down with all the styles (default, etc...). Just select the new set.
