I'm in need of a project manager to track software development over the Net. I've found a few freebies, but they don't really have the features I'm looking for.

Project Management/Tracking assignments
Project Team Categories
Project Categories
Status of projects (percentage of completion)
Project reports
Date assignments (begin-complete)
etc....

Just a wish. :D

Been a month, so I thought a BUMP was in order. :D

No one interested in this?

Dont you think this request is a little bit too specific to your site? I really dont think someone will code the hack considering the fact that it will appeal to only VERY few people..I also didnt get in what way this is related to vb? It seemed to me its a independent script you are looking for.. And needless to say you are not asking for a few line modification, it's a hell of a script(s).. :squareeyed:

Actually, no. It's not specific to my site. I don't see how this hack would appeal to only a few, when "projects" is such a broad topic relating to anything done on any site that needs team coordination.

It's related to vB just like any other hack here, based on the database and forum functionability.

I know this would be an in-depth hack. This is simply a request to see if there was any general interest in doing it.

Lesane, can you help me do this if we work together on it? All I need is a simplified project tracker.

I would love to see this as well. I think any site which has a team which works on things will likely have a need for such a tool.

Definitely could use this on my site. If it takes a few months for someone to do something like this maybe I'll write it...

If it helps I can give a coder a copy of this so they can look at it

You may wish to check if vS-Bug Tracker is what you need (see my signature for link).

That is not a tracker though, and it's for phpnuke. It would be more reasonable to use something made for vBulletin since we are all running vBulletin on our sites, don't you think?

I know that, I made that clear in an earlier post. Maybe it's an option to port this hack for vBulletin
