Wanted! - Vb Migration Specialist!

I'm looking for someone to move our board over to our new dedicated server. I need to have the board patched to 2.2.6 while retaining all the original modifications.

please, you could do this yourself without our needs, all you need to do is make a backup of your database, then use a program that compares files (I use byond Compare) and copy over whatever that isn't right, the upload your files to your new server, then upload your backup to your new server, then run the upgradexx.php to upgrade it to 2.2.6.

you can get Beyond Compare at http://www.scootersoftware.com/ (found it when I was downloading the upgrade for vBB 2.2.6, they told you in there ;))

I decided to do it myself and I think it turned out OK.

The DNS still hasn't propagated across the web properly.

Well, now that the Domain Name has made its way back home, I can officially say that my board is fully operational thanks to all the info I was able to find around this great forum.

Have a looksie, and let me know what you think. I'd love to hear your feedback on some of my first real work on VB!

It was done by the same guy who did the main site template at: www.futurelooks.com

We put it together after I mentioned how the site didn't look like the forum and vice versa.

His name is Janne, and his email address is at the bottom of the main site. Unfortunately, he's temporarily retired. I need him to do one more thing when he comes out of retirement though. He's a great guy to deal with.
