vBkarma hack - scam?

I decided to buy the vBkarma hack from Overgrow at his website - www.overgrow.com/edge/buykarma.php

It looks like a nice, well coded hack and I had no problems paying for this. After making the payment it said to email webmaster@overgrow.com which I did, but it bounced back. I tried again and had the same result. I also tried contacting him at his own website, emails, PM's and even contacting the other board admins who also ignored me.

I then decided to come back here and do a search for 'vbkarma' which brought up results from other members who also had the same problem i've been having. They never received what they had paid for.

I contacted the paypal account holder asking to supply the goods or refund my money. No reply. Now I have reported them to PayPal and waiting for a response from them.

I just thought i'd let anyone else know that this guy takes your money and you never hear from him. Keep away.

It is true that overgrow has not been responding as of late, i post activly at his forum and even i have not seen him around. :paranoid: Im sorry to hear that you have lost your money, once i see him around ill try to contact him.


but calling it a scam is not true, its not overgrows paypal acount you are sending the money to but a friend of his that he owe's money to. im guessing both of them have been offline for a time. or the hack has gone private again. many users have paid for and run the hack including myself.
