The goal of my current project is to allow every registered member to create his own style to use with the board without having to be set as admin. I'm almost done editing it, just some security fixes missing... Now the question is, would anyone here be interested in it? I've attached a screenshot of the mainpage...

Also, should this be wanted, could anyone tell me if I'm allowed to just zip the modified files up and attach them (seeing that you have to be a customer to download things here anyway) or would I have to write hacking instructions for it?

i think ppn as something like this in development already.

anyway if you have it done id love to try it, and yes you will need to make a doc or vbhacker file.

Yes, otherwise users of your hack or modification will not know what to do with the files or what files will need to be modified in order to make it work (if anything has to be modified).

That looks great. Does this only affect the user alone?

Currently this affects all users, as it creates a new styleset which is useable by anyone. If requested I could make an option to make user created styles hidden for other users.

I've taken a look at the file changes so far and I've decided that I will not write any hacking instructions as I got better things to do with my time. Instead I will create a setup file that will auto-patch the files for you. Currently I only got a patching program for Windows though, but I'll tak a look around for alternatives.
