It would be great if there were some way to reinstall hacks easier after installing a new Vbulletin...just not sure how it could be done...hmmmm....it would be cool if you could apply hacks somehow like templates, in your vbadmin, yet somehow they would also be applied to the php files....but, I don't think that would be possible--or at least very easily. But that way when you reinstall all the php files it won't go over the hacks. I'm bringing this up mainly cause I just installed 2.2.6
There is a program out there that lets you compare files and documents for code changes and stuff, but I have forgotten the name of that program, does anyone know what I'm speaking of?
you know, i think the best solution is for the vbulletin developers to release vbhacker files for upgrading

Beyond Compare or Araxis Merge are the two most popular tools for that.
and you could make your own vbhacker files from every hack you have, so you could also as easy upgrade a board with the hacks, when you make all in vbhacker format.
personally i prefer to do it with beyond compare, you have more control what happend, and ther is no time the hacks aren't installed like it would be after an upgrade, when you have to use vbhacker after that upgrade
*blink* this is easier said than done you know. I am sure they have alot of stuff to do and this is not really needed. Why not just before you install a hack turn it unto a vbhacker file for future use?
