where is this hack and where is 2.2.6

the answer is simple, vBB 2.2.6 is just a beta board that's in the beta testing team (mostly the people that are teamed with Jelsoft to make the board better)...vBB 2.2.6 well just be turned into vBB 3 (hopefully vBB 3 well come out soon :()
