I have paFileDN from PHPArena.net as my download manager for my site.

I was wondering if anyone could incorporate this with Vbulletin so that it checks to see if the visitor is logged in as a member and if not, shows the registration link with some text saying please register on the forums if you wish to download the files.

it can be when someone views the main page or when someone clicks the download file button on the file information page.

I am sure it wouldnt be too hard...

needs to run on v3.1 beta of paFileDB and vb225

thanks in advance

I'll look into this code just now cause i've seen the script just never tried it.
Does it use mysql or flatfile?

But you know - I found that "MyFiles" is even a more advanced tool, try it out. Don't know about the integration, but still it's better designerd that pafile.

Do you have a link?

Yea...I already found it and noticed that it isn't for release yet. So how do you know it's better?

The admin piece is complete...I hope to have this released as a beta later this week.

Has anyone done a paFileDB intergration into vB3+ yet?

I believe its a default option to choose whether or not guests can download attachments. There some other file manager hacks floating around too.

...and I don't want guests downloading the files.

Which is why I'm asking if this has been intergrated into vB3 yet.

I know there are others floating around, but they don't have thumbnails for the downloadable files.
