is simple. it broadcast a certain page to users. for example the forums or the announcements or just the news on the home page. you download a little program and install it in your pc. then you get the vb.org klip and you just relax and enjoy the threads rolling, for example.

i will use it me for the news, on the main page. but also for the threads.

you cant make a hack. is simple code you add in that klip file of yours. the instructions are clear and they provide help on their site related to this matter.

If u try to explorer taht site, u may find a html page that are generated on the fly and all results are pushed to that software programm...

It seems perfectly logical that it would be possible to make a hack for this. I would love to know how to track a specific forum and show new threads that are posted, refreshing ofcourse.

This app is so schweet! I've seen that NeoWin (http://www.neowin.net) has created RDF backeend files for their Klips. I'd like to add this to my forums as well.

What hack do I need to create the RDF or XML files?

I'm experimenting with klip at the moment,i've worked how to edit the food source file to include new threads,but my question is what do i need to do to make the klip auto update itself everytime a new thread is posted.At the moment i have to add the thread links manually by editing the file,which is too time consuming.
Also what file type would you recommend i use. .RSS or .FOOD.
and what is a backend feed??

Sorry to ask so many questions.Any help is appreciated.

mines is totally different.. it uses several functions it has defined permissions based on child-parent forums and it selects various areas... news, threads, etc.

I have a basic setup that works well for me and my site. I'm sure it will be easily integrateable with anyone else's site as well. I'll drop it in the hacks tonight for you all and update here with the link.

P.s. It is very basic, meaning there's no bells and whistles to it, no admincp. Just simple code that can be edited in your editor to adjust.
