Im trying to add a smiley.

I am trying to upload this but it looks like a broken file or something weird. Can someone instruct me how to do this properlly. Im a newbie so go slow.

you can do it 2 ways, upload it thru. the Admin CP (which is useful if you only want to upload one) or upload it via FTP then go to the Admin CP and chose Add...here's dirtion for both.

if you going to upload it via Admin CP, you need to fist CHMOD the smilies folder to 777 by connectiong to it thru. FTP and have the path going to the simlies folder ;)

now for the one where you can upload more, just upload all the smilies you want into the smilies folder via FTP then go to the Admin CP and go to Smilies (or something like that) and click add...you want to chose the path where the smilies are then click on upload, the next screen lets you finish setting it up, should be easy ;)

I host my own server so I just emailed them to that server and put them in the smiley folder and they show up with a red x on a white icon. They will not work. Any ideas?

OK I can add it know but when I look at it from another pc its asks for a network pass word. I remove the smiley and that goes away.
Please help.
