I just did the 'upgrade' and replaced the file, but this is the last time I'm going to do it unless there's a dire security issue.

There will be a 2.2.6 release soon, it includes some bug fixes, php 4.2.0 compatibility and the security fix.

And I will be releasing an "upgrade hack" for 2.2.6 (from 2.2.5 only) by the end of the week.

Hasn't anyone managed to document a manual upgrade from 2.2.5 to 2.2.6 for those heavily-hacked boards?

(And before anyone suggests it, yes, I tried BeyonCompare, and it screwed up my board!)

If you're doing it manually, wouldn't it just mean you re-add the hacks one-by-one, individually? If so, there really isn't a tutorial for this as it would vary from case to case. What I do is re-add my hacks before upgrading so I'm back to speed instantly.

That might be fine for boards with a couple of hacks, but when you've got 30+ hacks it's a nightmare.

Someone once did a step by step list of changes from 2.2.4 to 2.2.5, so could someone not do the same for going from 2.2.5 to 2.2.6?
