This would require a TCL script as well as a vb hack.

What I am thinking is ftping a file holding the new thread stats or new posts. Something like that. And then, having a tcl script which will say when a new post/reply has been made as well as have channel commands like !lasttenposts, etc. that would list the last 10 posts, top poster, etc.

Does anyone think they could do this? I think it would be a great hack idea.

The reason I need it to ftp a text file over to another server is because I can't connect to IRC through my web host, but I do have several shell accounts which have eggdrop bots running.

Well, since no one replied, I actually went ahead and did it myself. LOL! I am going to document this hack and release it soon.
