background picture help

i want to place a background picture behind one of my vbulletin styles but i am having alot of trouble doing so. considering there are two different tables i must overcome somehow i have not been able to do it. also if i change the table color or make it somehow transparent it would affect all of the other tables within the forums. i have created a mockup of how i more or less want it to look in photoshop, i have cut the bottom just to reduce the size but it does go all the way to the bottom. if anyone can give me some tips on how to do this it would be greatly appreciated. :classic:
