really bumbed out

i have tried like 20+ times to add PNN's guest cannot view the posts hack and it wont work. i even talked with him. he ended up not responding after a pm? i have added several hacks, even some more intense????? i just give up. does it even work for ver 2.2.5? could that be it... i really could use this too. i get about 20+ lurkers a day. i know turning off viewing wont help, people wont register until they can see its worth it... i will get more people to register with his hack, but I CANT GET IT WORKING and its driving me nuts, have been trying for 5 weeks......

It's just that when something won't work after 20 tries, it's not very likely to work on the 21st try and isn't worth the time and effort to stress over. Good luck!

i understand that, but when it is said to work by others, i assume i can get it to work. and just maybe, someone had the same problem and would post a fix??????
