Its a picture hack where users can upload a picture of them selves, its something like the advatar, a user can upload there picture or use a website, and it gets saved to the mysql database, and the picture will show up in there profile and where ever you want, you can go to the admin options and set it to how you want it like, the screen shot is below.

Well, it looks very nice :)

But do you think you can put in an option to save the pics as files?
Do to the growth in size and some recent trouble I noticed with binaries inside the db, I've that pics should better be stored on the server instead of a MySQL db.

Slynderdale is working on it - i'm postive of that... You can expect a release from anything in the next few weeks to months with him ;) He is working on a big site at the moment so he may have put this on hold.

Great Job Slynderdale! This looks like an excellent hack and am looking forward to its release so we can install it on our site. Since you are having to rewrite it, I want to pass along a suggestion. How about an option where the picture has to be approved by admin/mods before appearing within the member profile or having an email/pm sent to admin/mods to review new uploads . For family orientated sites such as ours, this would be a nice feature that would prevent inappropriate pictures uploaded, from appearing first on the site. I have no idea how difficult it would be to code since I am no php programmer, but I think this would be a welcome feature to most.

Did you notice this was a 10 YEAR OLD post?

Also, that feature is now built into vBulletin and has been for sometime. It's called a "Profile Picture" and users can upload one from their Settings -> Edit Profile Picture in VB4.

It was the code from this mod that I was after. I have the profile and avatar fields populated and I wanted to add another upload field so that I could have a user uploaded badge. vBulletin's solution for a custom field is not clean enough in my books.
