Does Anyone Care About a Registration Quiz?

Hehehe very cruel as it tests the true knowledge of your users, but does anyone care?

I just created a quizlet that quizes the knowledge of users based on the tos! :)

You will see it working on my forums at http://www.wildfuryx.com/forum very soon (in like a day or so).

If I get enough responses to this I will release someting publicly.

Okay well this is my first vbulletin hack since 1.x! :)

The questions are currently in a flatfile php since I doubt people would really want to frighten their users like this. But if there is demand I will convert it into a table that can be managed and added on to.

Also I'm working on character management and an all out roleplay forum. It looks rather childish (I know) but it's fun once you get into it. :) Anyone is welcome to join. Just have fun reading the tos.

hmm...should's like a good ideal to put that on your board to see if the users actuly read the TOS :D

just one question....if you do put this in the hack section, are you also going to add something so you can add your own questions and answers to it??

If I do include this as a hack I'll include a separate .php to manage add and control the quiz.

I know people wish to add quizes to the posting (like an option for polls) and someday when I have more time I can probably enable this.

I'm going to concentrate A LOT more however on the character management for my forum. :) After that is done I will come back to this, see if there is demand, and if there is demand finish the registration hack with control panel within a day or two.

I think your idea is a good one, especially for boards that have a lot of problem members. If you need to boot someone from your board, it's easy to tell them that they knew the rules in advance.

If the user fails the quiz, do they become unregistered? That would be interesting... they need to pass to remain a member. Otherwise, this quiz can be made using the VBQuiz hack.

Well I have not yet installed VBquiz. But I never thought of making them unregistered.

Good idea actually.....and I'll look into vbquiz and what it does.
