Edit the forumdisplay_forumbit_level1_post template and remove:
<td bgcolor="{ firstaltcolor}"><smallfont>$forum[moderators]</smallfont></td>
And in the forumdisplay_forumbit_level2_post template, remove:
<td bgcolor="{ firstaltcolor}"><smallfont>$forum[moderators]</smallfont></td>

No, to remove it from the main page you would have to edit the forumhome templates, not the forumdisplay.

But to remove them from your sub-forums, follow the directions from my last post. It will not affect the moderator column on your forumhome.

Crazy,
I had the same problem...
Had to look in the 'forumhome' template and find this:
<td bgcolor="#1D6AA0"><smallfont color="#EEEEFF"><b>Moderator</b></smallfont></td>
And delete it... that will get rid of the moderator heading over the black column and should align everything... ;-)

It still wont show up, by deleting the column you're removing the visibility of the moderators, regardless of how it looks (standard links or in a drop down menu).

Is it the same path if we only want to remove that column in one forum full of subforums and not for the others?

dont you just remove the
<OPTION VALUE="#">moderators</OPTION>
<OPTION VALUE="#">---------------------</OPTION>
$forum[moderators]</select></td></form></tr>
and do the same with the resting templates?
