Custom Hack (easy)

Hi,
i wonder if a custom hack would be possible....if you guys aint sick of making em yet.
anyways...you see, Urbansoundz message board is mearging with a much larger message board, and not every1 fully agreed with it (including me).
I asked the admin if there was such a hack that displays a lil image in the part on the left under your personal details, with the image saying something like original Urbasnoundz member of Staff....just a lil thing that we would like to see, seeing how we like the board how it was.

do you get me? anyways in a few words -
the hack involves tha abbility for the admin to select users in the cp, so that an image shows in there details on left side of every post.

i hope some1 can do this! thanks!

You can do this really simply, just make a new profile field with this set up:
Field Required? No
Field Hidden? No
Field Editable by user? No

Submit it.

Then, after you've saved it, click on that codes edit link, and look at the profile field number, it'll be something like profilefield=6.

Then, in the postbit template, where you want the pic or text to show up, put $post[field#].

This is the easiest way to do it, the only thing is, you'll have to edit the users individually....otherwise, you could make it editable by users, and tell in the description they have three options. Your site, other site, or blank.
