Optimize post table ?

In phpmyadmin I look at the post table...

-----------------------------------
[Optimize table]

Is it ok to Optimize the post table? or any of the vb tables? Not really sure what it does so I wanted to ask :)

Yes you can do that and you actually should once in a while.
