turn Auto Notification default to "no"

I dunno if I post this in the right forum or not, but anyway, can someone show me how to turn that thing to "no" as default when someone register? I've looked in the database the emailnotification default = 0, but it still selects "yes" as default. I need some help thanks.

Edit your registeradult template, and move the "checked" from the Yes box to the No box in the e-mail notification row.
