small hack, please help

View Images for attachments is set to no in my board. However, I need to make attachments viewable for some forums only. Can anybody guide on how to do so?

It is a per forum option. You can set it from your admin cp.

Admin CP > Forums and Moderators > Permissions ;)

No actually what I'm asking for is not there.

I'm talking viewiable images, that actually shows up in the page, I wanted to be shown only in some forums,,other forums I want a link only. To save some bandwidth.

Yes, we are both saying the same thing. ;)

In forum permissions you can choose to turn on the UBB IMG tag as well as allow your users to post attachments.

if IMG tag is off then the pictures will show up as links. :)

Tried that, didn't work. :) I think IMG cod has nothing to do with attachments.
