There are a few users on my board that don't like the type of format vB uses. Instead, and for some unknown reason, they prefer when it is like this, which would be viewed when they click on a forum.

I am curious, can a hack be added where users can change the style that the view?

It may be impossible, or extremely hard, yet... doesn't hurt to ask. :cool:

No hacks needed. Just create a new style witha new templat set. Alter forumdisplay page as needed.

Well what you need to do is mainly edit your postbit templates... the problem is.. that for the first message to show like it did you do need a hack.

That is basically a threaded view is it not? If so, why apply hacks when vBulletin 3.0 is to have threaded view as an option? :).

If you, as well as your members, can hold off a little longer, I am sure you will find v3.0 of vBulletin to satify your needs.

um some time in Q2 Not sure though. There is a load of thread on vbulletin.com with screenshots and "little" hints on what might be included in it.

it was actually supposed to be done by the end of march
