Don't use phpMyAdmin, it's very unreliable for dumping / loading data.

Use that box that allows you to run a query or us a text file.

Depends on your database size.

Hi,
I got couple of problems :(
Once few days ago, I went to do the dump in phpMyADMIN, when I clicked it, then it gave me over 10 000 lines of queries I believe. I didn't know what to do so I copied the whole thing, and pasted it into 3 text documents. One saved as .txt, one saved as .sql, and the other .bck. Well today I went to restore it, and when I tried to restore it through the little box which says use a text file, it says something sucessfully executed, no tables found.
I then attempted to add it manually, so I opened it up and started adding, it took me an hour, because I never did this before. It worked I got 36 tables. I thought there was more, but I was at the end, then I went to the admin panel, when I clicked place there were different mysql errors
What do I do
use telnet. you will be save all the time. i just dont trust phpMyAdmin. the queries that i run.. i do it with my own little script, or EMS.. not the phpMyAdmin.

phpMyAdmin is safe to use with small queries, nakkid. The problem with it is it's a Web based application, and as such it has timeout limitations. For running a simple UPDATE query it's great, but when you're dealing with thousands of records it will most likely time out in the middle and you'll be stuck with half-a-database.

err my host can't give me Telnet access :(
What do I do?
I uploaded the db to a site, and then in the upload from text file, I put in the URL, it did it faster, but it says no Tables Found

I would suggest going with the EMS program that Nakkid suggested. It has a 30 trial period.
Does your current host not have some sort of import feature for you?

Do a search on the forums for EMS.
