View Full Version : Is this possible? Calender query

I allow the brides to be on my forum to post their upcoming wedding dates on the Calender for all to see. What I was wondering though is if there was a way of displaying those dates as they come around, the same way birthdays are displayed on the appropriate date. It would be great for the rest of the community to be reminded when another member was actually getting married. :)

If anyone has any thoughts about this and how feasible it is I would love to hear them. :)

Thanks!

Look for "upcoming events" in the Full Releases, I know it's done before. :)

<table border=0 cellpadding=0 cellspacing=0>
<tr><td><b>Event Name</b></td><td><b>Event Date</b></td></tr>
<?
require("./forums/global.php");
$events = $DB_site->query("SELECT eventid, eventdate, subject FROM calendar_events ORDER BY eventdate LIMIT 10");
while ($event = $DB_site->fetch_array($events)) {
echo "<tr><td><a href=\"http://www.url.com/forums/calendar.php?s=&action=getinfo&eventid=" . $event['eventid'] . "\">" . $event['subject'] . "</a></td><td>" . $event['eventdate'] . "</td></tr>";
}
?>
</table>

That SHOULD work... ;)
