Another forum site wants to merge with ours. We both run VB 2.2.2 - is there a way of importing members and threads from one forum to the other without manually copying parts of the database over?
In other words, is there a "VB to VB" import script or hack?
Thanks in advance! :)

Who cares, I've been looking for this for months! With such a high demand for a script like this, I'm surpised no one (including Jelsoft) has built one.
alright... I will look into making it...

Did neo ever get this working?
Desperate to import my old users into my new db without overwriting the current user info.

Thinking about it, it really is weird Jelsoft hasn't had this done. I mean, they even do ezboard post converters.
Somethign that would make it more automatic but still manual for users would be to put another field in the admin cp...check off all the users you want and have it put as a sql dump.
Forums and Posts should be able to just be dumped and uploaded... I might be wrong on that though.

well...I guess not. They posted that almost 3 months ago.
Anyone else up for the job?
