How can I show the online users...

... using the Hearme chat "hack" ?

Is this possible at all? If yes how would I do this?

I'd like to find out how to do this too. I had it working with the old Hearme Hack when I had UBB. I remember that the code was pretty easy- I only had to add two lines to the cgi files I was working with. I'm hoping it's that easy with php! I'd like to be able to see who is viewing the calendar and in chat. I'm guessing that the code is in the private messages hack, since I've seen people "viewing private messages".

I just checked the code, and I just don't know enough yet about PHP to know what to look for. I'm sure it isn't hard to do, but I'm clueless! LOL!

You know what- I don't think you have to change anything! In the onlineusers.php there is a line about showing chat, and I saw one of my members in the chat room today when I was looking at the online users!

I do like how Freddie has his chat users listed on the main forum page though- would love to know how to do that!

I don't know how HearMe stores who is in the Chat room but since phpMyChat stores them in the database it is very easy to get them. The downside is phpMyChat sucks in that it is always refreshing the screen.
