I don't want this hack - I need it!

My forum has more than 700 default avatars for my members to choose from. This is fine, except when you try to access this page (http://forums.gtplanet.net/misc.php?s=&action=showavatars) showing all of them at the same time. It's quite a mess, and it even times out on dial-up connections.

So, what I need, is some kind of modification that breaks that page up into several pages when there are more than a certain number (50, 75, 100 per page). Can anyone help out? I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem... :)

Im looking for the same, as it takes ages for all my avatars to load. The hack floleb7 suggested doesnt solve this problem for that page.

it should be very simple to do this, theoretically ;)
can anyone help out?

Remove all your avatars and force your members to upload custom avatars. That always works (at least for VB.org) ;)
