How can I change the private message icons?

Hi! I am trying to do a replacement for the icons to the left of the message subject in private messaging, but I can't find where the code is. Does anyone know in which template the path to the image is located?

Just overwrite the images themselves. No need to change any code. I believe they are all named pm*.gif.
