Question about Quick Reply. When I close a thread

Umm, when i close a thread, it still allows ppl to post via the Quick Reply. How do I stop this?

Can't be, because that hack still uses newreply.php to submit the post. The only difference is the form, i.e instead of using newreply.php's page you are using this mini-form. The parsing is still exactly the same.

Oh Alright........so it can't be done.
I hope in the future a hack like this comes out. :)

no dude, what he is saying is that the users shouldent be able to post a reply with quick reply when the thread is closed. the quickreply uses newreply.php to submit the post, same as if they dident use quickreply.
