you know the top5 thing? shows the top5 users/new members/active new post.. anyways.. i wanna make the top5 active new post only be shown if the access group allows it.. you know. cause there are certian areas of the forum newbies cant see? but on the top5.. well they can still see the title of the post and know everything but content.. which is borderline security issue for admin/staff.. so anyways.. how would i make it either skip it and goto the next thread? or put XXX in place of it..anything but show the auctal thread.. u know? just wanna add the security to an already good hack/mod.

It's easy to exclude forums in that hack. You just add:

WHERE forumid<>'X' AND forumid<>'Y'

to the query. Full permissions is another thing.
