I've installed 4 hacks... none of them work. Do most hacks not work on 2.2.2 or something?

heh, well of course ;p anyway, i'm in the middle of changing directories, so i'm hoping that will help, i'm also reinstaling everything. is anyone else having trouble with hacks on 2.2.2?

Everything seems to be working fine for me, nothing has went wrong yet (and I hope it stays that way :)).
