Dumping the post counter

God what an ordeal trying to find this out, would be a nice feature to have in future version.

Ok like many people here, I have a problem with post whores, so what is a safe effective way of killing the member post counts without hurting stability of the board.

give me steps and exactly which files and lines to edit or delete, I know a little but not much :)

Why don't you just turn off post-counting in each of the forums? That would be a lot easier and doesn't require hacking.

Yah, or remove the field from the postbit template and/or the user profie (not sure which template that is)
