Okay i know how to get that gradient for the categories.

but i just want it for my first set of categories

--Main Sub Category

the main subcategory has the forum too. Is there anyway i can make it so its notlike that?

heh.. I believe its a template modification and not a hack. So I don't think it does. :D

It should work only for the parent category if you edit just the "forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost" template.

it by puting this in category bg
