Avatar questions

Ok, I don't need avatar pics, just some questions on modifying vb to display a user's avatar...

How can you get the user's avatar to display like it does on the forums index page here at vbulletin.org? The part near "Welcome Back, username"...

Ok, I guess that was just one question, I forgot what the other was....grr.

Go into the Hacks Database and search for "Welcome Panel".

nope, unless you make a custom feild then call it with the $bbuserinfo. not recomended tho.
