Yesterday/Today Datestamp Hack

Bug found, When you edit a post it says

That don't really make sense now do it. Anyway to fix that small thing so it sounds good when it shows today/yesterday or the numberic date?

That seems to only fix where it says

"You last visited: Today , at 12:48 PM"

There still needs to be a "at" in the last date post on forum index and forum display AND where I stated before, when you edit a post it displays

Because "Today at 12:30 PM" sounds fine, but 3/22/03 at 12:30 PM sounds lame. maybe 12:30 on 3/22/03 could work. But how do I get it to say one thing if today/yesterday and the other if it's a actual date? :ermm:

Install Logician's Dynamic templates hack and you can do what you want very easily inside the template itself. I just did it and it works fine. ;)

How do I call the regular time, so that even if it was yesterday it still says the numbers instead of yesterday/today? I would like to have the option of where it says today and yesterday and other places not to.

When people quote each other I have it show the date of the original post. However, having this timestamp hack installed, their quotes say today or yesterday, but since it doesn't update the quote, the quotes are left saying today and yesterday forever.

Is there another command I can call so that it doesn't show the today or yesterday in the quotes, without removing the entire date?

The only thing that I see that doesn't work, is if you search for a user to prune in the ACP. It shows:

When you forward or send a reply to a private message, in the out box and the in box the "Today" is still there after some days. I think it would be better in these cases the date, as when you edit a post. I solved this:

in private.php find (NOT the first, but the second at about line 514):
$message[postdate]=vbdate($dateformat,$message[dateline]);
$message[posttime]=vbdate($timeformat,$message[dateline]); and change to: $message[postdate]=vbdatenoty($dateformat,$message[dateline]);
$message[posttime]=vbdatenoty($timeformat,$message[dateline]);
