INTEREST POLL: Shopping cart w/ vB

Hi everybody! (Hi Dr. Nick!)

I'm working on a new site where I need to integrate the online store with vB, so that the user tables and the templates are interchangeable.

Since no pre-packaged package does this, I'm planning to either take some piece of software and "merge" it with vB (or create my own from scratch) so that I can achieve this goal. Before I do this, though, I am trying to think of the future -- and you guys -- so I'd like to take a little poll to see if there's an interest for this, and to take suggestions/recommendations so that I may one day release it for public use.

this would be an amazing hack. if you can do it, i'd vote it to be hack of the month ;)

i agree with Gary, i'm surprised it hasn't been done sooner, and i'm SURE that if you get a nice shopping cart, capable of holding a LOT of products, it will get a huge following. HUGE HUGE HUGE!

well, has anything been done about this shopping cart idea? yea, it's old, but i still haven't found a good vb connected shopping cart
