Is all I want is a hack that will create smaller version of a big image. NOT a thumbnail, I don't even care about that because that is going to be too hard to install anyways. I just want one that will set the width and height of any image, either in the vb code image tag, html image "tags", and the attached feature if there is an image I just want the width and hieght adjusted to not go above a certain size. I would also like to keep the images proportional so they don't look all out of wack. I would also like to have the smaller image automatically have a link to the same image, so that if people wanted a full version, all they have to do is click the image and it would open up a new browser window and on a white page for all I care it would show the full sized version of the image that was reduced. I have asked for this hack and yet, it never gets worked on. It sounds very simply and from seeing the other hacks people can do, I know this would be a cake walk for you vb gurus, can somebody please make this hack?

If somebody can please take a look at this idea and try to work on it I would be so f'ing greatful you wouldn't believe it. I am sure many others would love this hack too.

I would be very greatful to any God Like hacker out there that can do this. Thanks.

Hack liek taht already exists. However I woudln't recocmend loading sucha hack onto your board. Pasing takes aproximately 15 sec sper iamge. NOw lets iamgine you have a thread with erm 30 images... Imagine how long it will take to load...

So, if I understand you right, you want two features:

1) When you post an image, you want there to be two inputs, too: width + height. Or do you want the width + height to be standard, as in, set by the administrator?

2) When you click on the image, you want another pop-up window to open with the full-size image.

Right?

Yes, but I want it to keep the hxw proportional. So that the images are sometimes stretched. 15 seconds is bull crap, that or VB sucks, because I have seen UBB do this on pages with over 60 pics and loads up in less than 5 seconds (not including the pictures themselves)

I think some people either didn't read the entire post or don't know what they are talking about. :confused:

15 secs is how long it tkaes for the currently existing hack taht you described as the one you want to do. Perhaps go through full realeases forum or search?
