I'm not sure what is going on now, but my moderators can't log in to the mod cp.
My super moderators still have access however.
My mods are getting pissed that they don't have access anymore.
All usergroups are okay, exept for the moderators. I need to know where I should be looking to solve this problem.

Anyone have any ideas on how to grant access to my mods.

TIA :)

Do they get any error?

Thanks for the rapid responce buddy,

There are no errors at all.

It just won't allow them to have access.

The mod's were bold before as well, and now it is as if they are regular members.

How can I resolve this matter?

I am guessing that the problem may be related to:

Where can I start to look for this problem?

Where can I start to look for this problem?

Is this the last hack you added that affected this? If so remove the hack and see if everything now works for the mods.

Not quite sure as I installed 5 hacks the other day.

I have tried removing and still my mods can't log in unless I change them to supermods.

Any ideas where I can look?

Were any of the last hacks required you to modify the mod/index.php and/or the mod/user.php files? Any updates to the usergroup table with these mods?

No.

Not at all.

That's where I thought the problem would have been. I have not altered anything in the mod folder. I even tried fresh copies of both and stillthe same.

My moderators show up as a Moderator only they are not colored, bold, or have any authority at all.

They can't access the mod/index.php and it's as is they are regular members.

I really don't want them being supermods.

Any ideas?

I have a problem similar to this. None of my mod stuff works. I didn't even know there was a mod cp. Then I found out but if I try to go to anything in the mod folder it says something like this:

Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /usr/local/plesk/apache/vhosts/hyrenvillage.com/httpdocs/dreamfed/forums/mod/global.php on line 32

that message is the one you get when you click on Moderation -> New Posts in the admin cp.

See,

I can access the mod cp, as well as super mods, but mods have no access.

I have been on this forrever.

Any help will be appreciated.

TIA

Did you re-create the moderators usergroup or anything like that? Are you sure you are using the original group?

I have not changed anything in the mod folder at all.

I have not created a different usergroup for mods at all.

Even when you check the usergroups you have the option to remove the moderator group. As far as I am aware, this is a default though. Right?

I have been on this till I am blue in the face.

I hope you can point me in the right direction, as I have been on this for weeks. Thanks :)

ER, my mod stuff still doesn't work.

Ok.

I just did a fresh install of 2.2.2 with a new db and my mods still do not have access to the mod cp.

I am not sure if it is a bug with 2.2.2 or what.

Every usergroup works as instructed exept for moderators.

Am I forgetting something small or what?
