Pop up when a forum has a new post

My mods are notoriously lazy when it comes to checking the mod board at my place.

Would it be possible to make a hack that would give all my mods a pop up like the PM pop up when there is a new post in the mod board?

HOLY **** that would be a great idea!!!!! Althu I am thinking that it is probaly a tad to hard to write, (back to my php book)
